Introduction

Ad Astra Driver is a VR racing game. Guests will sit on the VR egg chair, wear VR headset and use steering wheel and joystick to control the motorcycle in the game. The guest drives a motorcycle that can move up, down, left, and right in air to complete a race track in Pittsburgh. The guest needs to avoid being stopped by obstacles and accumulate enough energy to accelerate the motorcycle. There is a ranking list that records the time the guest spends on this race track and the rank of the guest.

My Work

I’m the level designer and the programmer. In the game, we have two map for racing, one is city, the other is space. I designed the track of the city part. As a programmer, I implemented the UI part including the tutorial, motorcycle panel and the ranking. I also processed the performance of the city scene, including adding skybox and making breathing light.
